Privacy Policy

We keep what the trip needs, show the group only what the group needs, never sell it, and delete it when you ask.
  1. 1What we keep

Your account: name, email address, and — if you give them — phone number, home airport, handicap index and GHIN number, and your Venmo or Cash App handle so the group can settle up.

Your golf: the trips and rounds you plan or join, which days you are in, pairings, the cars and the list, your scores, games and settlements, and the comments, votes and notes you leave.

What you ask your caddie: the answers to the planning questions and messages to "Ask your caddie", which we use to draft and change your plan.

Membership: your tier and billing status. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.

Technical: the sign-in session cookie, a cookie that remembers a trip you joined by link, notification subscriptions if you allow them, and ordinary server logs (such as IP address and browser) kept for security and fixing faults.

  2. 2What we use it for

To run the product for you and your group: drafting and showing the plan, letting the people on a trip see and change what they should, keeping the card, and sending the emails and notifications you have allowed.

To bill memberships, answer you when you write, keep Caddie Co. secure, and fix and improve it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

  3. 3Who sees it

The people on a trip see what that trip needs: your name, which days you are in, your pairing, your car, what you are bringing, your scores and what is owed. Your email and phone are not shown to them.

Services that run parts of Caddie Co. on our behalf, under contract, and only for that purpose: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel and Fly.io (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google (maps and places; Google sign-in if you use it), Apple (Apple sign-in if you use it), Anthropic (the model that drafts plans — it receives your trip details, not your payment details), Sentry (error reports, with your account id but not your name or email), PostHog (which pages are used and when trips, joins and scorecards happen, keyed to your account id; it sets no cookies), Nuitée and LiteAPI (a room booked in the app: the booker’s name, email and phone go to them, and they take the payment), Stripe Connect (an organizer who collects deposits verifies their identity with Stripe, not with us), Expo (to deliver notifications to the iPhone app), ImprovMX (forwards mail sent to our addresses), and Open-Meteo (the forecast for a golf day; it receives a location, never a person). A text-message provider will be added when text notifications launch.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect people or the service from harm.

  4. 4Where it lives, and for how long

Your information is stored in the United States.

We keep it while your account is open. If you delete your account we remove your profile and personal details within 30 days; the trip records other people rely on (a score on a shared card, a settlement) stay, with your name replaced. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

  5. 5Your choices

You can see and correct your details on your account page, change which notifications you get, and delete your account.

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it, at support@caddieco.golf. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (California, for example) you may have further rights; we honour them.

  6. 6Children

Caddie Co. is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their information. If you think a child has an account, tell us and we will delete it.

  7. 7Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect.

[Caddie Co. legal entity] is responsible for your information. Write to support@caddieco.golf.
